With the launch of Snapdragon 865 announcement, smartphone manufacturer started revealing their upcoming plans to employ into their phones. As you might be aware, Snapdragon 865 is the flagship chipset from the company. We will be seeing most of the major smartphone companies using this chip in 2020 flagship phones.
In the meantime, Chinese firm ZTE had announced that upcoming ZTE Axon 10s Pro will be one of the early adopters of Snapdragon 865 SoC. Now, a new ZTE device with model number A2020 SP has been certified by Chinese telecom authority TEENA. It is suspected to be ZTE Axon 10s Pro, albeit we don’t have any official confirmation. As usual, the listing reveals full specification and official images. Indeed, it borrows the similar design as Axon 10 Pro, but with upgraded internal hardware.
ZTE Axon 10s Pro Expected Specifications
According to TEENA listing, ZTE Axon 10s Pro incorporates 6.47-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ AMOLED display. It utilizes the Snapdragon 865 tri-cluster octa-core CPU clocked @2.84GHz. The GPU should be Adreno 650 to handle the graphics-intensive tasks. The optics department includes three cameras at the back. The primary one is the 48MP sensor combined with 20MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto lens having 3x optical zoom. The front side surrounds a 20MP front-facing shooter for selfies.
The handset packs 4000 mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging support. An in-display fingerprint sensor is available for security purposes. There are multiple storage variants with up to 512GB of internal storage paired with maximum 12GB RAM. The storage is further expandable up to 1TB via external micro SD slot. It runs on latest Android 10 operating system o the top of MiFavor 10 custom skin. All the essential connectivity options are present. It measures 159.2 x 73.4 x 7.9 mm and weight is 175 grams.
Overall, it replicates the ZTE Axon 10 Pro with latest Snapdragon 865 processor. The early certification indicates that it could be the first smartphone to hold Snapdragon 865 SoC under the hood.
