Earlier, Vivo’s subsidiary brand IQOO was rumored to launch a mid-range smartphone named IQOO Z1x, but most of the specifications were covered. Yesterday, Chinese Telecom TEENA has listed that smartphone with model number IQOO V2012A disclosing the full list of specifications.
Finally, the company arrives with its official launch date going to happen on July 9 in China. The statement was released on the company’s official Weibo handle. In a separate post, the company revealed some more informations such as 120Hz display and 5000 mAh battery courtesy of IQOO Product Manager Zeng Kunpeng.

According to TEENA listing, IQOO Z1x will have 6.57-inch 1080 x 2408 pixels Full HD+ IPS display. This is a 5G ready smartphone thanks to the affordable Snapdragon 765G chipset. The processor arrives with some handy specifications and capable Adreno 620 graphics card. Regarding the optics, there is a triple rear camera setup with 48MP main sensor combined with 2MP + 2MP sensors. The front side is taken care of by the 16MP selfie shooter. Overall, it has decent camera configurations for a mid-range smartphone, at least on paper.
Moreover, the device runs on Android 10 operation system on the top of heavily customised skin. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as it doesn’t AMOLED panel to utilize the in-screen fingerprint. The handset measures 164.20×76.50×9.06 mm and the weight is around 200 grams. It will arrive with 5000 mAh non-removable battery coupled with 33W fast charging support.
Besides, there are multiple storage variants holding up to 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. The base variant is going to have at least 6GB RAM and 64GB of built-in storage.
