Oppo has finally launched Oppo F15 smartphone in India as expected. The device successes the F11 smartphone that was introduced last year. But still holds the older MediaTek Helio P70 chipset under the hood. Design-wise, the company makes some visible changes and four cameras at the back. All in all, the company has made some worthy upgrades, which we will discuss in this article.
Oppo F15 Specifications
The Oppo F15 incorporates 6.4-inch 1080 x 2400 pixels Full HD+ AMOLED display. To utilize the AMOLED panel, the company offers an in-display fingerprint sensor instead rear-mounted found on its predecessor. The chipset remain MediaTek Helio P70 similar to the F11 paired with Mali G72 MP3 GPU for graphics hungry tasks. The other key highlight is quad-camera setup at the rear portion. It includes 48MP primary sensor combined with 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors. There is a 16MP front-facing shooter with a tiny notch.
The handset packs 4000 mAh battery with 20W VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 supplied out of the box. The sad part is that the device still runs on Android 9 Pie on the top of custom ColorOS 6. We were expecting the latest Android 10 operating system, which unfortunately not the case with Oppo F15. The device measures 73.3 x 160.2 x 7.9 mm and its weight is 172 grams. The device comes in a single 128GB storage variant coupled with 8GB of RAM. The storage is further expandable with the help of an external micro SD card. All the essential connectivity options are present on this device.
Oppo F15 Pricing and Availability in India
The Oppo F15 comes in two Lightning Black and Unicorn White colour options. It is priced at 19,990 INR, which roughly converted into 282US$, for the only available variant.
