Samsung unwraps a new smartphone called Samsung Galaxy M40 in India as it was promised. Unlike the other “M” series smartphones, it has a smaller 3,500 mAh battery to keep the lights on.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor coupled with Adreno 612 GPU under the hood. The smartphone is equipped with 6.3-inch Infinity-O Full HD+ IPS LCD display at 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. As for optics, it has a triple 32 MP, f/1.7 + 8 MP, f/2.2, 12mm (ultrawide) + 5 MP, f/2.2 (depth sensor) rear camera, whereas, on the front, it has a 16 MP, f/2.0 selfie shooter. The rear-mounted snapper is well capable of recording up to 4K video and the front camera is restricted to record up to 1080p video.
Furthermore, the device packs 6GB RAM paired with 128GB storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card. As we mentioned earlier, it has 3,500 mAh non-removable battery that supports a fast 15W USB Type-C charger. Connectivity wise, it includes Dolby Atmos, NFC, WiFi, Dual SIM support, and Bluetooth 5.0. It will worth noting that it doesn’t include a 3.5 mm headphone jack. All in all, the device looks premium in the mid-range segment but still lacks some important features.
