Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 has been rumored long ago. Earlier, there were speculations suggesting its release to happen in August, but now Xiaomi co-founder and President Mr. Lin Bin officially confirmed that the device won’t be officially released at least in August month. When a Weibo user asked him about the forthcoming device’s arrival in August, the answer was simply “No”.
According to the latest industry chain, this new Mi flagship is still in preparation, due to new technology, it is unlikely to be launched in August. Considering the company’s past track record, Mi Mix 2 was released on September 11, 2017, while, Mix 3 was released on October 25, 2018, then Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 might be also releasing later in September or most-probably in October month.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Expected Specifications
Since it is the flagship of Xiaomi in 2019, it is likely to arrive with some unique features. Lately, Xiaomi had showcased 100W Super Turbo Charge in response on Oppo’s SuperVOOC fast charging. It is likely to be adopted by the Mi Mix 4. The company further patents a Periscope camera lens for enhanced optical zoom as we have seen some recently launched devices Oppo Reno 10x Zoom and Huawei P30 Pro; therefore company is most likely to include this feature too in the forthcoming device.
Moreover, the device is expected to bring the Snapdragon 855 or even 855 Plus processor, Super AMOLED display, 64MP rear camera, and 4500 mAh non-removable battery. As of now, there is nothing confirmed, so we have to wait for the official confirmation. Previously, Lei Jun posted speaking about this device that “Mi Mix 4 is going to be a super art business flagship”, so the price of Mix 4 will not be too cheap. It is expected to be at least 4,000 yuan, and the 5G version will easily exceed 5,000 yuan.
