Vivo V17 Indian variant with Snapdragon 675, punch-hole camera launched

Vivo unveils the standard Vivo V17 smartphone in India as it was promised. It will worth noting that it is different in many ways compared to the Chinese variant of Vivo V17. The Indian variant brings a punch-hole selfie camera and a different arrangement of rear snapper. There are a few other changes that we will be discussing in this article. Vivo V17 (India) specifications

The Vivo V17 Indian variant incorporates 6.44-inch 1080 x 2400 pixels Full HD+ AMOLED display with Schott Xensation UP glass protection. It has the Snapdragon 675 chipset coupled with Adreno 612 GPU to handle the graphics-intensive tasks. To recall, the Chinese variant holds Snapdragon 665 chipset, which is slightly less powerful than SD 675. For optics, it has a quad 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP depth + 2MP macro lens on the back. The front portion gets a 32MP punch-hole front-facing camera to take selfies.

Vivo V17 India

The handset packs 4500 mAh non-removable battery with 18W Dual-Engine fast charging support. It runs on Android 9 Pie on the top of the Funtouch OS 9.2 custom user interface. The device measures 74.17 x 159.01×8.54 mm and weighs 176 grams. All the essential connectivity options are present on this device. An in-display fingerprint sensor is present for security purposes.

Pricing and Availability

The Vivo V17 costs 22,990 in India for the only available variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. It comes in two Glacier Ice White and Midnight Black color options. As for availability, Vivo V17 will start selling via various online and offline platforms across the country, starting from December 17.
