Samsung recently confirmed that a new smartphone called Galaxy M40 will be launching on June 11. The smartphone will make its global entry from India and will be sold only on online platforms exclusively like other “M” series smartphones. We are already pretty much aware of what we are getting under the hood, but a detailed specs sheet revealed by a Twitter user.

As per the leaked spec sheet, the device is equipped with a 6.3-inch 1080x2340p Full HD+ Super AMOLED display at 409 pixels per inch (PPI). It is powered by the Snapdragon 675 11nm processor clocked at 2×2.0 GHz Kryo 460 + 6×1.7 GHz Kyo 460 octa-core CPU. As for storage, the device will have 128GB built-in storage coupled with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM. It runs on Android 9.0 which should be definitely hiding behind company’s own custom skin. When it comes to connectivity, the device offers all the necessary features like 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm jack, Dual SIM support, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi and USB Type-C port for charging.
Furthermore, the device will have a triple 32MP + 8MP + 5MP rear camera and a 16MP punchhole style selfie shooter. Unlike the other “M” smartphone, the M40 smartphone comparatively offers a smaller 3,500 mAh battery. The series is known to offer high-capacity battery phone, but at least not the case with this phone. currently, we don’t have pricing details but it should be priced above 20K looking at the company’s past track record.
