Oppo had recently announced Oppo Reno 5g smartphone. Now the device gets certification approval from the Chinese authority site 3C, which means the handset is fully ready to make its commercial entry in China. The certified device has mentioned its model number PCGM90 and applicant is Guangdong Mobile Communications Co. Ltd. Moreover, it also confirms the 20W (5V==4A) fast charging support. The certificate was issued on July 16, 2019, thereafter, published for public view.
Speaking to the specs, The Oppo Reno 5G features a 6.6-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ AMOLED display. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with Adreno 640 GPU. The chipset includes X50 5G modem by giving it capabilities of enhanced 5G internet speed. It packs a 4065 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support. The optics department is handled by the 48 MP, f/1.7 (telephoto) + 13 MP, f/3.0 (telephoto) + 8 MP, f/2.2 (ultrawide) rear camera and a single 16MP motorized pop-up camera on the front.
The Oppo Reno 5G runs on Color OS 6 based Android 9 Pie out of the box. As for storage, the device has 8GB RAM coupled with 256GB of internal storage, which can be even expended further the help of external micro SD slot. When it comes to availability, the company has already confirmed that the 5G phone will be commercial in China in the third quarter of this year, whereas, the device is already available for sale in Europe, price starting from 899 euro.
