Meizu 16T Antutu Benchmark scores arise, likely to be announced on October 23

Meizu is working on a more affordable flagship smartphone after launching the Meizu 16s Pro. A device with model “m1928” has been stopped by the popular benchmark site Antutu. According to the Antutu listing, the device packs Snapdragon 855 process, which is slightly slower than the Snapdragon 855+ found on the Meizu 16s Pro. It managed to scores 4,18,909 points on Antutu v8.

It features a 1080 x 2232 pixels resolution display with 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. The handset runs on Android 9 Pie. Interestingly, a similar device also gets the essential certificate from Chinese authority TEENA exposing the full internal hardware as well as physical appearance.

The device brings 6.5-inch Full HD+ OLED display, 4400 mAh battery, Triple 12MP + 8MP + 5MP rear camera, 16MP front camera, 6GB / 8GB RAM, 128GB / 256GB storage, and Android 9 Pie operating system. It measures 159.63×78.2×8.3 mm, while, the weight is 183 grams. An in-display fingerprint sensor is embedded for safe unlocking. The design seems nearly identical to Meizu 16s Pro. It is likely to be called Meizu 16t claimed by various Chinese sources, and Antutu officials as well.

However, the company didn’t make any official announcement, but the device is expected to be launched by the end of next month. Even, a leaked poster claimed its announcement date to happen on October 23. But we are quite skeptical regarding that image authenticity.
