Huawei Mate 30 / Mate 30 Pro 5G variants pre-bookings start from tomorrow

Huawei had recently launched its flagship Mate 30 series at the global launch event in Munich, Germany. Both Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro gets multiple variants with or without 5G support. In addition, there is a special Mate 30 RS Porsche design handset included in this series as usual. Initially, only 4G variants were available for the domestic Chinese market as well as some global markets.

Finally, the company is all set to release the 5G models of the Mate 30 series. These smartphones will be available for pre-booking starting from tomorrow in China, the company officially confirmed via its official online China store Vmall. The actual sale is taking place from November 1 in China via the official Vmall store.

Considering the price, Huawei Mate 30 5G costs 4,999 CNY for 8GB RAM / 128GB storage and the top variant with 256GB of storage combined with the same amount of RAM is priced at 5,499 CNY. On the other hand, the Mate 30 Pro 5G base variant brings a 6,899 CNY  price tag, which further increases to 7,899 CNY for top 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.

Both the smartphones are powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G chipset clocked @2.96GHz. The screen size for the Mate 30 5G is 6.62-inch at 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution. The Mate 30 Pro 5G has a relatively smaller 6.53-inch display but with sharper 1176 x 2400 pixels Full HD+ resolution. Both of the smartphones adopt OLED panels for vivid and vibrant color scheme.

The standard Mate 30 sports triple 40 MP, f/1.8 (wide) OIS + 8 MP, f/2.4 (telephoto) OIS, 3x optical zoom + 16 MP, f/2.2 (ultra-wide) rear camera and a 24MP front-facing snapper. At the same time, Mate 30 Pro incorporates quad-camera setup on the back with 40 MP, f/1.6 (wide) OIS + 8 MP, f/2.4 (telephoto) OIS, 3x optical zoom + 40 MP, f/1.8, 18mm (ultra-wide) + 3D ToF sensors. On the front, it has a dual 32MP + ToF sensor camera combo.

Both the smartphones run on EMUI 10 based on Android 10 out of the box. As for the battery juice, Mate 30 has 4,200 mAh battery, while, the Mate 30 Pro packs a bigger 4,500 mAh non-removable battery.
