Black Shark 3S officially confirmed to arrive on July 31

Recently, Asus has unveiled Asus ROG Phone 3 with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset, which makes its first smartphone to use this chipset under the hood. Now, its key rival Black Shark is also planning to launch a new smartphone with upgraded specs. As you might be aware of, a few months back, Black Shark 3s was announced with high-end configurations. But the smartphone industry is becoming unpredictable with too many launches with a concise period of time.

The Xiaomi backed Black shark today announced that the company is going to launch Black Shark 3s smartphone on July 31 in China. However, we don’t have much information available regarding the specs. But we are expecting this could be similar to its predecessor with upgraded chipset and higher refresh rate display. As with Asus ROG Phone 3, this smartphone can bring the 144Hz refresh rate display instead of 90Hz found on the Black Shark 3 Pro. Furthermore, charging technology can also get the boost as Xiaomi has already got a certificate for 120W charging. But it could also be reduced to 65W, which is more than enough to change a 4000+ mAh battery in less than 30 minutes.

Black Shark 3 Pro Specifications

Speaking to the Black Shark 3 Pro specs, it comes with 7.1-inch 1440 x 3120 pixels Quad HD+ AMOLED display at 90Hz refresh rate. The chipset is Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 clocked at 2.84Hz for higher cores. As for optics, it brings triple rear cameras with 64MP primary + 13MP ultrawide and 5MP depth sensor.

On the front, there is a 20MP selfie camera. The device packs 5000 mAh non-removable battery with 65W fast charging support to charge the device with 38 minutes as the company claims. All in all, it is a gaming beast running on Android 10 out of the box on the top of custom UI.
