Apple iPhone SE 2 in work, says Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo

Apple is likely to launch iPhone SE 2 in the first quarter of 2020, according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. In his latest report claimed that Apple will release the iPhone SE2 at a lower price in Q1 in 2020. The report further adds hardware specifications are similar to iPhone 8. The most obvious upgrades are the latest Apple A13 processor and 3GB LPDDR4X RAM.

Thanks to the lower price and latest A13 chip combined with 3GB RAM, iPhone SE2 is expected to increase the market share of the iPhone and help Apple promote content and services. It is estimated that the shipment of iPhone SE2 in 2020 will be 30-40 million units.

The report also says that the iPhone SE2 will become an important growth driver for Apple in 2020, and it is the best choice for the iPhone 6 series users with about 100 million. The iPhone 6 series is the best-selling iPhone. Ming-Chi Kuo estimates that there are still about 100 million users of the iPhone 6 series. Because the iOS 13 does not support the iPhone 6 series, there are more urgent changes to the iPhone 6 series.

He believes that the iPhone 6 series users have the following three characteristics, so iPhone SE2 will be preferred when changing the machine: 1, accustomed to iOS ecology, 2, limited budget, 3, for new features (such as Face ID, multi-camera) Strong. The Phone 6 series cannot run some Apple content and services smoothly because of the weak A9 processor. Therefore, if the iPhone 6 series users upgrade to the iPhone SE2 equipped with A13, it is beneficial for Apple to promote content and services to these people.
