The Chinese firm Xiaomi continuously working in the 5G filed to compete with other manufacturers. We have already seen a couple of 5G smartphones from ZTE and Huawei. Now, a Xiaomi device with model number M1908F1XE has been certified by Chinese authority site 3C. Previously, the same device was certified by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The current listing further reveals 5G capabilities and a (20V==2.25 max.) 45W fast charger with given Adapter’s model number MDY-10-EX.
The device is likely to be the company’s next flagship, that would be most probably Mi Mix 4. There are argues on number 4 as it is counted as unlucky in China, therefore, the company might skip to Mi Mix 4 and directly jump to Mi Mix 5. As for availability, a couple of weeks ago, when Lin Bin, president of Xiaomi, was asked about the launch of Mi Mix 4 in August month, the answer was simply “No”. Therefore, we have to wait a little longer to see its official launch event.
Speaking to specs, market rumors suggest that it will arrive with Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, 64MP rear camera, and 4500 mAh non-removable battery. The company also patented a Periscope camera lens for enhanced optical zoom giving possibilities of implementation on upcoming Xiaomi flagship device. At the current scenario, we are unable to confirm any of the above-given specs, but in the coming days, we are hoping to hear more about this device.
