Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone likely to be called Mi 9S 5G full specifications has been confirmed by the Chinese certification site TEENA. Unlike the earlier rumors, the handset features a 6.39-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ AMOLED display on the top identical to Mi 9. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor clocked at @2.96 GHz CPU. The capacity is 4,000 mAh, that is expected to support up to 45W fast charging.

The device measures 157.21×74.64×8.95mm, and weight is 196 grams. Due to a bigger battery, the device is slightly thicker and heavier than the original Mi 9 with 8.55mm thickness and 196g weight, whereas, the MI 9 comes with 7.6mm thickness and 173 grams body weight. Rest of the specs are almost identical to the original MI 9. The optics departments is controlled by the triple 48MP, f/1.8 (wide) + 12MP, f/2.2 (telephoto) +16MP, f/2.2 (ultrawide) and a single 20MP, f/2.0 aperture selfie shooter.

Regarding storage, it arrives with three storage variants: 6GB RAM / 128GB storage, 8GB RAM / 256GB storage and 12GB RAM / 512GB of internal storage. It runs Android 9 Pie-based on custom MIUI skin and all the essential connectivity features are present on this device. All in all, this is an MI 9 with 5G support, more storage, and slightly improved processor with a bigger battery.
