Vivo gaming division IQOO unveils its next-generation IQOO Pro smartphone in China. As expected, It arrives in both 4G and 5G models. As for pricing, the 4G variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 3,198 Chinese Yuan, which goes up to 3,498 Chinese Yuan for the 12GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. The 5G variant with 8GB RAM / 128GB storage costs 3,798 Chinese Yuan by making it one of the cheapest 5G smartphones. Other two variants are priced at 3,998 Chinese Yuan for 8GB RAM / 256GB storage and 4,098 CNY for the 12GB RAM / 128GB storage respectively.
As far as availability is concerned, the 4G version will up for pre-orders starting from tonight and will start shipping from August 30 via both online and offline platforms available across the country. The 5G variant will up for the pre-sale tomorrow with limited availability, while, the open pre-booking will start from August 29. The variant will start shipping from September 2. Both the devices include three color options: LeMans Blue, Racing Black, and Phantom Blue.

Speaking to core configurations, The Vivo IQOO Pro features a 6.41-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display at 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution claimed to offer 91.7% screen to body ratio. It is powered by the Qualcomm’s latest chipset Snapdragon 855+ coupled with Adreno 640 GPU under the hood. As for optics, it has a triple camera module with 48MP IMX582 sensor Main followed by 13MP and 2MP sensors. The front portion includes a 12MP camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The IQOO Pro packs a 4,500 mAh non-removable battery having the support of 44W quick charging. It runs on Android 9 Pie-based custom FunTouch UI out of the box. Further, the company uses several optimizations to boost the gaming experience. All in all, both 4G and 5G models are sharing identical internals. In addition, iQOO Pro 4G/5G series phones also support Net Turbo network acceleration technology, dual Wi-Fi acceleration technology, support HiFi audio, retain 3.5mm headphone jack, and support full-featured NFC.
