Apple yesterday announced its new iPhone 11 series including three new smartphones dubbed as iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
All the smartphones get a measurable upgrade in terms of hardware with the latest Apple A13 Bionic chip under the hood. Apple claims to deliver 20% faster and 30% more efficiency in the CPU department. The GPU segment either comes with 20% faster processing and whooping 40% power efficiency according to the company. In addition, the octa-core Neural Engine offers 20% more speedy performance and 15% less energy required to handle AI tasks.
Today, a device with model number “iPhone 12, 3″ spotted on Geekbench. The device is supposed to be the latest iPhone 11 Pro. Regarding the result, it scores 5,472 points in single-core and 13,769 points in multi-core on Geekbench. These scores definitely indicate a significant improvement in CPU, while, we have to wait for other tests to find out the GPU and AI performance. The listing also shows the device running on the latest iOS 13 and 4GB RAM. As expected, the chipset clock speed is 2.66 GHz, which is almost 7% higher than the Apple A12’s 2.49 GHz.
In comparison, these are the best scores we have found on any smartphone till date. Its near competitor is Apple A12, which scores almost 4,812 points in single-core and 11,280 points for multi-core, followed by Snapdragon 855+ with 3,623 points in single-core and 11,365 points in multi-core. The Kirin 990 5G is also in the list, but its Geekbench scores are not yey update. Overall, Apple A13 blown away its competition with a healthy lead.

To recall, another device with a model iPhone 12,1 was caught on the same platform. It had scored 5,415 points in single-core and 11,294 points in the multi-core result. However, the single-core result remains the same, but multi-core result has been improved greatly in the new test. There are possibilities that the device tested previously could be on early face manufacturing. Overall, the latest scores are impressive and beat the Apple A12 with a good margin. We can expect the new A13 Bionic to outperform other chipsets as well. Apple is known for tremendous customizations and it clearly shows in the real-world performance.
