As we are getting closer to launch, every day we are getting new information about the Huawei Mate 30 series. Today, a Weibo post from Chinese blogger reveals battery sizes of Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro respective. As per the leaked data, the Mate 30 to pack a 4200 mAh battery, while, the Mate 30 Pro will have a 4500 mAh battery under the hood. As both the handset are flagship phones, we can expect top-notch specifications out of the box.
Update: These batteries further appear on Korean certification site to confirm the leak. Nevertheless, the devices name can’t be identified, but these batteries are officially certified by the Korean authority.
Moreover, both Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro are rumored to have a wider notch waterfall display on the top. The HiSilicon Kirin 990 will most probably power these devices with an integrated 5G modem. Further, the company is likely to adopt next level 55W super-fast charging, one of the fastest on any smartphone. Apart from that, the Mate 30 Pro to boast a triple rear camera with 40MP, 1/1.5″ with a variable aperture of f/1.6 – f/1.4 main sensor, another 40MP, 1/1.7″, a 120-degree ultrawide secondary sensor and an 8MP telephoto lens third sensor with support of 5x lossless zoom. The bottom is supposed to have a USB Type-C port, a speaker and secondary microphone.
The Mate 30 Pro is expected to have a 6.71-inch curved AMOLED display. Regarding the official launch, there is no official confirmation yet from the company, but a long tail of leaks indicate for a September launch, but some Chinese media reports also claim for a mid-October launch. Therefore, we should wait for official confirmation.
