A few months ago, Meizu had announced its flagship smartphone Meizu 16s, now, the company seems to extend this series further. Some recent market rumors mil suggested that the company is working on a Snapdragon 855 Plus-powered smartphone. Afterward, Meizu device with a model number M973Q got certified by the Chinese authority site 3C with 24W fast charging support. However, the image is a bit of dubious, but possibilities can’t be ignored.

Alleged Meizu 16s Pro leaked specifications

As per shown in the screenshot, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ octa-core chipset clocked at 2.96GHz. The front camera is placed on the top border without any notch, resembling the Meizu 16s.  As for storage, the device will have 256GB UFS 3.0 built-in storage coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM options. Unlike the Meizu 16s, the device is supposed to bring ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

The handset features a 90Hz AMOLED display, that is a significant upgrade over traditional 60Hz found on Meizu 16s. It supports 24W fast charge as well as “mCharge Wireless” charge with 18W quick charging. The display resolution is not confirmed yet, but most probably it should be a 1080p Full HD+ AMOLED panel. Other features include Meizu Pay, Flyme OS 8, and Super mTouch.

It is expected to arrive in three color options including Blue, Black, and White. Regarding its availability, there are no words from the company about its official announcement, but the date found on the lock screen suggests Meizu 16s Pro supposedly to get launched on August 23.
